TrekStor extends its design family with a new hard disk

The new external hard disk, DataStation pocket q.ue - the big sibling of credit-card-sized bestseller, microdisk q.u - is a real eye catcher with its elegant black designer casing. Besides a high speed USB 2.0 interface, the handy 2.5” DataStation pocket q.ue is also fitted with a state of the art eSATA interface, thereby providing for even faster data exchange with the computer.

Designer hard disk with eSATA interface
The future-proof eSATA standard is used to link external hard disks to the computer. Many new computers are already fitted with an eSATA interface. In contrast to other connections, data can be transferred much more rapidly, at rates of up to 3 gigabits per second. In this way, eSATA optimally exploits the high transmission speeds of modern hard disks, thereby providing for extremely fast data transfer between the DataStation and computer. The DataStation pocket q.ue measures just 129 mm x 75.5 mm x 16 mm and weighs approximately 159 grams.
Prices and availability
The DataStation pocket q.ue with the backup software Nero BackItUp 2 Essentials is available from all the usual specialist retail outlets with immediate effect. Prices range from € 89.99 for the 250 GB model to € 139.99 for the 500 GB version. The new TrekStor hard disk is delivered with all the necessary accessories including an eSATA cable and matching transport pouch for safely transporting the little eye-catcher.
